Since Raycaster just launched, this page contains work that Nicole and Sam have done independently and alongside other teams to create a wide range of visuals for respected brands and artists. Whether developing something entirely new or working within pre-established brand guidelines, Raycaster Studio brings the same level of care and attention to every project.

Freddy Todd — Chaos Hotline
Covers & Visualizer

Three renders were created as covers for Freddy Todd’s corresponding album and single releases. The pieces are inspired by early telephony and the Detroit music scene. Sam managed the direction, 3D elements and animation for the project in partnership with Memory Palace, a Denver based electronic music label.

Meta — AR Filter and Billboards

In 2022 Meta reached out to Sam Clover to creative direct a series of billboards as an AR experience. The experience and artworks highlight various butterfly species and their respective migration patterns. These billboards were able to be seen in NYC, SF, and LA.

MTV— Snapchat Discover Segment

This MTV logo reveal loop was created for MTV’s Snapchat Discover page. Inspired by classic MTV idents from the 80’s and 90’s, these punchy animations visualize MTV’s expansion into the mobile realm. The MTV design incorporates bright and pastel colors to communicate a fun, bubblegum-pop vibe that captures MTV’s deep roots in music pop culture. The logo reveal was broken up into two segments, which were aired throughout the day.

Adult Swim ID— Candy, Set Your Timer…

Candy, Set A Timer… is a colorful, cheeky animation by Nicole Ruggiero that was aired on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim in 2019. It was inspired by classic cartoons, AI assistants, and the influence of Japanese culture in the U.S.

Charli XCX — Claws Visuals

Sam Clover created various 3D assets that appear in the Claws music video, such as the crab claw goo, the column scene, and the human claw girl character. This video was directed by Charlotte Rutherford.

A.G. Cook — High Snobiety Illustrations

The series of three visuals are a collaboration between A.G. Cook & Nicole Ruggiero, created as illustrations for or Cook’s High Snobiety article. The surreal illustrations were inspired by René Magritte and visually capture the evolution of Cook’s internet music aesthetic.

Asysaavedra — Trevor Saves the Universe Artworks

Sam Clover collaborated with Charlotte Rutherford to create a series of three whimsical 3D sculpted environments that were photo composited to advertise the artist’s soundtrack release.

Big Fun— Social Media Promo Video

In 2025, on a tight four-day timeline, Ruggiero directed and produced this lively, chaotic animation for the Big Fun universe. Big Fun is a startup crypto exchange focused on trading meme coins on the Bitcoin blockchain, and this animation was created to showcase a new feature on their platform.
